Great paint pens - work exactly as paint pens should
These are great. The coverage is good, they dry quickly and work well on surfaces on which writing is usually difficult. As with ALL paint pens, you do have to press down the marker to get the paint flowing. That how it is supposed to work.

Great for wood crafts
Shake them good and press them down on paper to get the paint flowing. Worked great personalizing wood ornaments. Red comes off a little pink side, but only when against a traditional red color (candy cane red).

These were perfect
I needed these pens to craft up my basic Christmas ornaments. These were perfect for it. I was able to put many multi-colored snowflakes on and hearts and other pretty things. It takes like a minute for the paint to flow at first, but once you do it once you don't have to again. After that, you don't even really need to push in to get the marker to paint. I thought these were great and super easy. And they are super quick to dry. Which is perfect, because I have new ideas for each ornament like every 10 minutes, and the ornaments are already dry from the last idea!

They've worked perfectly for me for three years
I do a lot of kids crafts, and have been buying these non-toxic pens for three years. They've always performed perfectly for me. Just follow the simple directions on the side of the pen to get the flow of ink started properly, and everything should be great. I've used them on wood, rocks, and fabric. When using on fabric, if you blow dry the ink with a hot hair dryer, it will "set the ink" so it will withstand going through the wash. Nice!

One of the best, in my experience
I've tried paint markers from several manufacturers, and in my experience, these are the ones that you can count on still being useful two months later. If you only need to use it for one or two projects, and expect to use up all of the paint in one go, then most of the brands will work well - and many will give better results than these on glossy surfaces. But if your needs are like mine, and you want an opaque marker that you can use just once in a while for a few quick stokes, then these are the only ones to use; they don't dry out anywhere near as fast, if at all. With all of the others, and particularly the Sharpie brand, if you put it away for a couple of weeks, you have to completely resaturate the tip - and it may already be fully plugged with dried paint at that point. Wait two months, and it's pretty much hopeless. Of course, the color selection is very limited, so you may not be able to find the shade that you want, but at least it's likely to work.

Good product but fine could besharper
Used two sets of these. They are FINE but I have seen finer and if you write very small it will run together. However, they will mark on just about anything, glass, plastic even better than a permanent marker pin and will take more abuse (scuffing or finger oils).

OIl based Sharpie
Excellent markers, except they do not last a long time like the regular Sharpies.After minimal use my black oil based Sharpie ran out of paint and the tip frayed....so if you have a project consider purchasing multiples of the oil based Sharpie color that you need...
